Meet Our Turtles

I’ve previously written about how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is all too often thought of as big action and silly gags – and while you’ll definitely find both in the series, at its core there’s a deeper story about brotherhood, about interpersonal dynamics, and about feeling the weight of something more than yourself. To communicate that effectively, you need to tell a story – and that story needs to be told by performers who understand the characters inside and out. So without further ado, I’m proud to announce the main voice cast for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City:

We’re thrilled to have such an all-star cast lined up for Empire City – but we’re even more excited that every single name we’re announcing today already has history with the Turtles. There’s an incredible history of talent tied to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, and that’s a history we weren’t willing to leave in the past.

Yuri Lowenthal, for example, might best be known to gamers as the voice of Insomniac’s Spider-Man – but he’s also voiced three of the four Turtles in previous animations and video games. And Roger Craig Smith isn’t just Ezio from Assassin’s Creed II, and the modern voices for Chris Redfield and Sonic the Hedgehog – he’s performed a number of roles in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, and even voiced Raphael in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 earlier this year. In fact, every one of our Turtles has voiced their character before.  And it doesn’t just stop with our Turtles. Gwendoline Yeo has become the definitive modern voices for Karai. Phil LaMarr was iconic as the voice of Baxter in the 2012 series. Fred Tatasciore, Dave B. Mitchell, Melanie Minichino and Ben Lepley are all reprising roles they’ve previously performed. When we first set out to make Empire City, we had a dream list of voice talent we’d want to work with to create a cross-generational Turtles family reunion – and much to our amazement, we got them all.

We have one last surprise in our voice cast that we haven’t introduced just yet, but trust us – it’ll be worth the wait.

What’s Coming Next – New York Comic Con

Just as important as how our Turtles sound is how they’ll look – and if you’re going to New York Comic Con in October, you can be among the first fans to catch a glimpse. I’ll be joined on stage by Empire’City’s narrative consultant and author of The Last Ronin (as well as about a million other top-tier Turtles comics) Tom Waltz to reveal new details about Empire City, the look of the game, and share never-before-seen gameplay footage exclusively in the room. You won’t find it anywhere else! If you’re at NYCC on Friday, October 10th, 2025, be sure to join us in Room 408 at 12:45pm for the full experience. And if you can’t make it, shoot us your questions on Cortopia Studio’s Discord in advance (TMNT: Empire City channel), and we’ll do our best to answer them from the stage and post our responses online after.

Much love and pizza,
Ace
